Frequently Asked Questions

What is Agri-Sure?

Agri-Sure is a U.S. provider and administrator of extended-warranty coverage for agricultural and commercial equipment, including tractors, zero-turn mowers, UTVs, utility trailers, skid steers, and mini excavators. Its plans can cover powertrain failures or broader “bumper-to-bumper” repairs, depending on the contract. Coverage is generally purchased through participating equipment dealers.

Is Agri-Sure Coverage Insurance?

No. Agri-Sure coverage is not insurance.  Depending on the type of coverage you choose, Agri-Sure administers warranty or service contracts for eligible equipment. Elite Authorized Dealers offer Lifetime Powertrain Warranty products for Tractors, Zero Turn Mowers, UTV's, & Golf Carts while offering Lifetime Structural Warranty for varied types of Trailers that may not be sold, but given upon the purchase of equipment.  Ask your dealer for details about the coverage for the equipment you wish to purchase.

What is a powertrain warranty ?

A powertrain warranty typically describes all mechanical systems that require oil or hydraulic fluids to operate. Most manufacturer's list powertrain as 4wd systems, differentials, engines, transmissions/hydrostats, hydraulic pumps, axels etc. Essentially, the powertrain to any machine can quickly be the most costly fail that can occur.

What Equipment Brands are Eligible?

Agri-Sure coverage is available for virtually all brands of tractors up to 120 horsepower, zero-turn mowers, golf carts, UTVs, utility trailers, and compact construction equipment.

Agri-Sure is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any particular brand or manufacturer. Eligibility, pricing, and coverage limits may vary based on the equipment’s brand, cost, and failure-rate history. Ask your dealer for details about the specific equipment you are considering.

What does "Lifetime" Coverage Mean?

Lifetime Coverage applies for as long as the original owner continues to own the machine.

Coverage is issued in 10-year terms and ends if the machine is sold or traded. If the original owner keeps the machine beyond the initial 10-year term, Agri-Sure will provide an additional 10-year term at no extra charge, subject to the coverage terms and conditions.

What is limited basic coverage?

Limited Basic Coverage provides protection similar to what is commonly called “bumper-to-bumper” coverage. It generally includes covered powertrain, electrical, and other mechanical components that are not considered normal wear items.

“Limited” means that exclusions, coverage limits, and other terms apply. Covered components may vary by machine, so refer to your coverage agreement or ask your dealer for complete details.

Does Agri-Sure offer Roadside Assistance?

No, Agri-Sure does not cover travel time, cost of travel, or mileage unless you have purchased Tractor-Sure Ultimate, or Utility-Sure Ultimate, or a separate Maintenance or Travel assistance rider.  If you have purchased one of these, Agri-Sure offers reimbursement and rebate offerings towards travel and maintenance. Ask your dealer for more information about these offerings for the type of equipment you are purchasing.

Does Agri-Sure cover electrical systems?

Yes! Under Agri-Sure Plus coverage options or Agri-Sure Peace of Mind coverage, fuel and electrical systems are included. This covers A/C functions, switches, lighting, and advanced display modules and systems.  Ask your dealer for details of coverage for the type of equipment you are considering coverage for.

What is not covered?

Coverage generally excludes routine maintenance, normal wear items, tires and tracks, batteries, glass, fluids, transportation and service-call expenses, equipment rental, overtime labor, and repairs using unauthorized providers or parts. Salvaged equipment and machines previously declared a total loss are also excluded. Refer to your coverage agreement for the complete list of exclusions.

Are Maintenance Records Required?

Yes. Maintenance records may be requested when a failure involves a system that requires routine service. If you cannot provide records showing that the required maintenance was completed, your claim may be denied.

Where can repairs be completed?

Repairs may be completed nationwide at any qualified dealer or service facility that agrees to use OEM-approved parts and follow Agri-Sure’s claim procedures. You are not required to return to the original selling dealer. If needed, Agri-Sure can help you locate a convenient repair facility.

Can I perform my own Repairs & Maintenance?

Yes. You may perform your own routine maintenance and certain covered repairs, subject to the following requirements:

  • Prior authorization: Contact Agri-Sure and receive approval before beginning a covered repair or purchasing parts. Unauthorized repairs may not be eligible for reimbursement.
  • Parts reimbursement: Agri-Sure may reimburse 100% of the cost of authorized, OEM-approved parts or purchase the required parts directly, subject to your coverage terms and limits.
  • Documentation: You must provide the requested diagnosis, photographs, receipts, maintenance records, and other supporting documentation.

Do not begin repairs or purchase parts until Agri-Sure has reviewed the claim and provided authorization. A claims representative will explain the next steps and any additional documentation required.
